Description of the project
The Ivori-Irri dredging project kicked of in 2002 and it involved 4 other companies: Vibrojeniczebra Limited, Callidor Line Ltd, Comfort France and Nikimbog Limited.
The dredging project involved reclaiming of lost lands close to the water logged Ada-Ivrogbo boundaries.
The Problem
The basic challenge was to stop the erosion of the left over land which has been eroded to the span of 23%. Stopping the erosion of the land was a critical step as this will prevent future erosion of the present reclaimed land. land
The Strategy
Stop the erosion, re-enforced the boundaries and reclaim lost or eroded land-spaces by dredging & filling.
